Country Meadow Village, an affiliate of Village Concepts, has been our major quilt show sponsor for every year of the show!  They have an active adult community full of quilt appreciators and quilters and they are always ready for quilt-related adventures!

We LOVE to have the CMV residents come and enjoy the show on Friday via their private bus and we tap their expertise to award a judge's choice ribbon to a lucky quilter.  But the CMV attendees all have to agree!

They always stay for the Bed Turning, sometimes to see it twice!  And they return to their residences full of inspiration for their own needlework.  They have quite a group of folks who are interested in quilting and other fiber arts.

July 14 - set up day!

The quilts are hung and the finishing touches are complete!  Teri and Kimberly walked the entire show doing last minute touch ups and checking.  What a pleasure to have such a big space for the show!  305 quilts and fiber art pieces entered plus many more quilts exhibited.

Here is a tiny fraction of what you will see when the show opens tomorrow.  Be ready to be dazzled!

Reminder:  Bring cash for the $5 admission and for tickets on the raffle quilt.  Bring a tote bag for shopping.  And bring friends!

Turn-in Day! And some set up on Wednesday, July 13

We had a GREAT turn-in day (in spite of printer issues) and have received 100% of quilts registered!  That's an achievement!  Our hardy registrar and her talented crew checked and rechecked everything.  So much anticipation seeing those stacks of quilts, by category, ready to become a quilt show!

We assembled and staged all of the quilt stands, with some excellent help from Burlington Rotary Club members!  Then, as we like to do, we hung the largest quilts to get a start on Thursday's work. 

Next, we'll hang the rest of the show and put on all those finishing touches that make a quilt show spectacular.  

PLEASE plan to come this weekend!  You'll be so glad you did.  If you are a quilter you'll be totally inspired to keep creating!  If you are a fiber artist, you'll find inspiration, too.  And if you are a quilt and fiber art appreciator, we have so much for you to enjoy!

QBTR is a FUN, BIG group of Skagit County quilters who love to gather and share the craft of quilting!

Meetings are in Sedro-Woolley and are an opportunity to see and learn from friends as well as to admire all the quilts and creations during "show and share".
