National Quilting Day in Sedro-Woolley - March 16, 2013!!!

Well, National Quilting Day is actually Worldwide Quilting Day!  Surely the most fun holiday of the year!

We had our third annual spontaneous National Quilting Day Flash Mob Parade in downtown Sedro-Woolley at 11 a.m. this morning.  And we had 17 quilters, young and old (well, "experienced") in the mob!  Thanks to every one who came!

We paraded up and down Sedro-Woolley's main street, Metcalf, and took some detours into some of the surprised stores and restaurants.  But quilts make everyone happy!

Shirley's birthday is today so we sang a quick song for her (thanks to her daughter for pointing this out) and we ran into Pat Hayden, whose birthday is tomorow.  Anyone else?

In case you haven't figured it out, EVERY day is National Quilting Day for a quilter...but this is a special day set aside for extra celebrations!
