Here is the traditional posting of the GPS coordinates for our quilt show location. For all you techies! We will probably post them again when we're closer to the show dates!
Our 2016 location is revealed!! We were not able to secure a downtown location for the show - but we think we have found something better!! For the first time since 2010 our show will be all under one roof!!
At the former Skagit River Restaurant, which is next door to the Three Rivers Inn on Highway 20!!
This location is just west of the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 9 (where Rite Aid is).
Easy to find, good parking, and all in one spot!
Technically, the address is "221 Central Ave". But just think "next door to the Three Rivers Inn" and you'll find it! Here's a photo, facing east:
Keep checking this site for more quilt show information!!
Once again, our extraordinary artist, Gary Daum, has captured the fun, frenzy, and Technicolor of QUILTING!! He gets us.
Our quilter (whom we have named "Pippi") drives a quilter's pickup truck filled with baskets, flowers, and quilt blocks. Thanks, Gary! Blast of Baskets is coming and this image will be our signature for posters, postcards, and our Internet presence!
Yes! We had our annual Super Spontaneous National Quilting Day Flash Mob Parade in downtown Sedro-Woolley!! To celebrate National Quilting Day and to give folks a heads up on our Blast of Baskets Quilt Show coming up June 3-4-5!!
The downtown core is nice and compact - so we can easily cover all of the territory and make it back to Cascade Fabrics for the grand finale!
National Quilting Day always deserves a parade, don't you agree?
Thanks! To Reynola Pakusich for patiently teaching us the art of overlapping circles, to Elsie Summers for two catered lunches so delicious that we had no idea we were "eating healthy", and to the Woolley Fiber Quilters and friends who came and made this weekend full of quilting fun!
As usual, we came away inspired, tired, and ready to make use of our newly acquired skills. You will see some of these great pieces at our Blast of Baskets quilt show June 3-4-5. In downtown Sedro-Woolley!
