Sponsor Appreciation: Quilters by the River

 

There are LOTS of quilters in Sedro-Woolley and the biggest gathering is the group Quilters by the River!  They boast members from all over Skagit and Whatcom counties and  beyond.  They meet twice a month for show and tell plus announcements but also meet at least once a month to create quilts for charitable organizations.  Many members are involved with making quilts for Veterans, foster children, premature babies, and children in traumatic circumstances. 

When you attend "Blast of Birds", you'll see many quilts on display that were created from the hearts and needles of this big group and you'll know that many more quilts are under construction RIGHT NOW for our 2018 show.

Woolley Fiber Quilters - 2017 quilt show Blast of Birds!

July 14, 15, 16, 2017,  Cascade Middle School in Sedro-Woolley!

We have a new venue and new dates!  How's that for big news!

Our 2017 show will be at Cascade Middle School on Highway 9 just north of the intersection with Highway 20!  Follow the signs to the McGarigle Road (address is 905 McGarigle RD) and come on in!  The school entrance faces north.

As hard as we tried to stay downtown and stay in the Blast from the Past street festival, we just needed a bigger building than was available.  So this is great news for our local quilters - we have so much to show you!!

You'll start seeing our posters and flyers soon.  Our busy quilters are working on their entries for the show RIGHT NOW!!  You will see so much inspiration at our fun, hometown show.  So mark your calendars and be ready to join us at "Blast of Birds"!!
