Quilts at the Mount Vernon WA Library!

We received a recent request from the library in Mount Vernon for quilts they could display in conjunction with a mystery reading challenge!   They only needed a few...

Well, you know that quilters will open their cupboards and bring out quilts on any request!

Please go by the library and see these displays in person!  

Our thanks to super-librarian Alisa Kester for the concept and execution.  She has created some clever displays and one, in particular, has a clue to the mystery!

WFQ Raffle Quilts through the years!

WFQ members create a masterpiece quilt for raffle every year!  The proceeds help us fund  our local quilting education projects as well as to get another amazing quilt out into the community for the winner to enjoy. 

Here is a look at our raffle quilts through the years; our show started in 2010 and we revealed our first raffle quilt then.  It was awarded in 2011 when the next one was revealed!  And so on. 

We have had so much fun creating these quilts and that's the third benefit - for quilters to have fun together!

WFQ Quilt show - will happen in 2022!

We have received many inquiries and compliments from the friends and fans of the Woolley Fiber Quilters regarding our "annual" quilt show!  Well, we had 10 shows until COVID and then the 2020 and 2021 shows proved to be impossible. 

We are happy to tell you that we are planning a BLOWOUT show for 2022!  It will be EPIC, with the delightful results of quilters staying home for two years and QUILTING!!

July 15-16-17, 2022 are the confirmed dates for our venue.  Now we wait to see what COVID has to say about it, but we are very hopeful. 

Saturday, July 17, 2021 we gathered at Cascade Fabrics in Sedro-Woolley for the drawing of the winning ticket for our 2021 raffle quilt!  In this photo, Bobi Kelley holds the winning ticket! The winner is a young man from Bellingham.  

Our 2022 raffle quilt was revealed after the drawing and tickets became available immediately!  See photo.  Tickets at Cascade Fabrics.  The winning ticket for this quilt will be drawn at our 2022 quilt show. 

So you already need a 2022 calendar for important dates like QUILT SHOWS!

2021 quilt show for Woolley Fiber Quilters? Still standing by...

So many of you want to know if the Woolley Fiber Quilters will have a quilt show in July 2021!

Maybe.

We have not secured a venue yet and probably won't know if we have it until late April or May. 

If we are able to get our usual venue, we are ready to put up a show!

If not, we will have to postpone until 2022.
